St. ANNA'S
Episcopal Church

St. Anna’s purpose is to lead people into a growing relationship with Christ, to declare the liberating power of the Gospel, and to be the church that demonstrates the love of Christ through works of justice, mercy, empowerment and hospitality.

All are welcomed.
None are shunned.

We are a diverse congregation and our slogan is "All are welcomed. None are shunned." Our worship style is ornate with deep ritual yet it remains warm and inviting. Members of the Transgender community are welcomed. We are also kid and pet friendly, with gender neutral bathrooms we are a real community church.

The Rev. Don Owens Named Interim Priest

The Rev. Don Owens has for years admired the work done at St. Anna's. For over 20 years he was the James A. Knight, M.D., Chair of Humanities and Ethics in Medicine Emeritus Tulane University School of Medicine as well as Priest in Charge St. Timothy's LaPlace, LA. He joins us from his retirement in Wimberly, TX near Austin. Fr. Don will join us in early August.

July 23rd Feast of Saint Anna Fr. Terry's last Mass. A slight change:

Let the good times roll with the Solemn High Festival Mass. A reception (party) to follow. The Festivities begin at 6 p.m. dress comfortably. Due to some construction delays etc. we will not, unfortunately be doing a Second Line, nor having a reception at Dodwell House. But we will still have a time to rejoice together at St. Anna's Church campus.
