Grace at the Green Light (“Grace”) was founded 11 years ago to compassionately and strategically address the growing crisis of homelessness in New Orleans. Grace serves the most marginalized unhoused individuals in our community who are struggling with poverty, food insecurity, and inequitable access to healthcare and housing. We are the only organization that provides daily case management and nutritional support, 365 days a year, for those not staying overnight in local shelters. Our mission is to offer them choices, while meeting their basic needs (water, food, clothing, and community) in a loving manner that embraces the human Spirit.
